Brittany Sprague, MSW, RSW
Brittany grew up in Woodstock, New Brunswick and has earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology from STU (2016) and a Master of Social Work degree from Carleton University (2018). As Mental Health Coordinator, Brittany works on various aspects of mental health support at STU, including running awareness initiatives, facilitating workshops, trainings, groups, and programs, providing one-at-a-time counselling sessions, and helping students connect to mental health supports and services.

STU Mental Health offers one-at-a-time counselling services to students. One-at-a-time counselling has the intention of helping the client in one session, while acknowledging that additional sessions are available to the client if they choose to reach out again. There are also various options for ongoing counselling services available to students to which the Mental Health Coordinator can connect students.
